In 2017, we petitioned Lewisham Council and challenged them to respond to our questions regarding the historically poor academic outcomes of black children in the borough thus holding them to account.

We have been Instrumental in establishing the  Lewisham Young Leaders Academy (LYLA)  in the borough.

We have played a major role in implementing the “Lewisham Tackling Race Inequality in Education Pledge” in all Lewisham schools

We have successfully supported young people and families with educational concerns through signposting them to specialist organisations.

We have  continued input on Lewisham Council's committees on Children and Young People affairs and Safeguarding.

 We hold online conferences and monthly community workshops that aim to inform parent/carers about matters pertaining to education and training using our links with black and culturally competent organisations
