OUR VISION AND FOCUS

In 2017,  we petitioned the education department of Lewisham council to respond to our questions regarding the historically poor academic outcome of black children in the borough, holding them to account.

Over the years, Lewisham Education Group has grown to be an influential community organisation.

Our group have actively campaigned to improve the educational, economic and employment prospects of our black young people and  families living in Lewisham.

On our inception, we devised an 8 point plan that provides  a comprehensive solution focused approach to addressing the key issues affecting the educational attainment of young black people so that these issues can be tackled head on.
